About the Course
Many climbs require one member of the team to "put the rope up" to be able to top rope the climb. The way this is typically done is by lead climbing.
Leading can take the form of Sport or Trad climbing. In this course, we can tailor it to fit the skills that you want to learn. A big part of this course is learning to manage the added risks that come with lead climbing.
Some skills learned in this course include reading a route, placing protection, clipping bolts, managing ground falls, and how to fall.

Travis has been guiding since 2011 and he is an American Mountain Guides Association Certified Rock and Alpine Guide.
