Snow Creek Wall Climbs

The Snow Creek Wall is the gem of the climbing around Leavenworth. It lies just inside of the Alpine Lakes Wilderness. It hosts moderate classics like Outer space and Orbit. Orbit at 5.8+ is one of the easiest climbs on the wall. It features a mix of finger and hand cracks, as well as some fun climbing in dihedrals.

Outer space is one of the most classic non-alpine climbs in all of Washington. It is home to an amazing hand crack surrounded by granite knobs splitting a massive shield of perfect rock. This pitch can be seen from certain aspects of the Icicle and even town. It remains to this day, one of my favorite pitches ever climbed.

Climbing the Snow Creek Wall not only has great rock climbing but you are likely to come across some of the true locals, mountain goats.
