Skiing Improvement for the Backcountry Skier

Location

Stevens Pass Mountain Resort

About the Course

Over the years of skiing in the backcountry, I have noticed many skiers struggling to make turns. Skiing in-bounds, they can ski well but once out of the resort it all falls apart. I have even seen people carrying their skis downhill. I get it, I have been there before as well until I was taught better techniques for dealing with the tricky conditions of backcountry skiing.

This course is designed to help skiers improve their movement skills so that when they go out-of-bounds, they can ski with confidence and enjoy the downhill.

These days will take place in-bounds at Stevens Pass Mountain Resort to allow as much time as possible working on the downhill movement skills. It is recommended to bring your typical touring pack with you for the day.
