About the Course
This course is designed to broaden your skills as a skier to be able to access steep terrain by skiing and with the use of ropes to help manage risks. Day 1 will look at the use of a rope and anchors in skiing as well as getting to see people ski steep terrain depending on the conditions. The 2nd day, we will go out and try to utilize these skills on a line that is steep and appropriate for the group.
Your Instructor
Travis Weil
Travis has been guiding since 2011 and he is an American Mountain Guides Association Certified Rock and Alpine Guide and Apprentice Ski Guide. He is also a PSIA Alpine Level 2 Instructor.
